Indian Lake
Wesley R. Moulton, 84, of Big Brook Rd., passed away peacefully at his home, Thursday morning, March 21, 2024, with his daughter and grandson by his side.
Born on February 22, 1940, in Indian Lake, he was the son of the late Arvin and Beatrice (King) Moulton. He was a graduate of Indian Lake Central School.
Wesley married Janet Eldridge on October 30, 1960, at the Indian Lake United Methodist Church. Janet passed away on December 24, 2008. They enjoyed 48 years of marriage.
He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator for NYSDOT. He retired in March of 1994.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and four wheeling, especially with his grandson, Jerry.
Wesley was predeceased by his parents; his wife; and his siblings: Hilda Streeter, Viola Rine, Ramona Sabattis, Reta Moulton, and Rodney Moulton.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Deidra “Dede” Mae of Blue Mountain Lake; his cherished grandson, Jerry Roblee and his girlfriend Natalie of Indian Lake; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call from 4 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home, 6357 State Route 30, Indian Lake.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Thursday at the funeral home.
Friends and family are invited to gather at the Indian Lake Volunteer Fire Department following services.
Private burial will be in Cedar River Cemetery.
