Lake Luzerne
Patricia T. Dickinson, 82, passed away Thursday evening, November 9, 2023, at the Glens Falls Center.
Born on October 2, 1941, in Pawlet, VT, she was the daughter of the late Myron and Charlotte (Scally) Bennett.
Pat was a hard worker from an early age, working at Bennett’s Riding Stable, several ranches including Hidden Valley and over 20 years for Harris Grocery.
First and foremost, she loved her family and friends. A nice visit over a hot cup of tea was her favorite thing to do. She loved being a grandma, great grandma, great great grandma and a special “Aunt Pat” to so many. Always remembering her many nieces and nephews on holidays and special occasions. She loved crocheting, knitting, romance novels, coin collecting and taking pictures.
Such a kind, caring, selfless woman that was happiest giving all she could to anyone she thought needed it more. The world would be a much better place with more people like her.
She was predeceased by her parents and siblings: Lawrence, Bernice, Linda, and Wayne.
Survivors include her beloved daughter, Betty Lou (James) Walker Reynolds; grandchildren: Heath (Samantha) Reynolds of Porter Corners, Alissa (Travis) Norton of Hadley; six great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; siblings: Charles Bennett of Lake Luzerne, Alberta “Skip” Walker of Hudson Falls, Diana “Snooky” Dowmont of Fort Ann, Edward “Pete” (Sandra) Bennett of Hadley, Dawn Bennett of Iowa, Leeann Howe of Selma, North Carolina, David (Laurie) Crossman of Lake Luzerne, Daniel Bennett of Selma, North Carolina, Maureen Bennett of Durham, Lisamarie (Robert) Valla of Greenville, Cynthia “Babe” (Alan) Casey of Smithfield, North Carolina, Myron “Sam” Bennett Jr. of Lake Luzerne; sister-in-law, Bonnie Bennett of Lake Luzerne; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
