Elizabeth M. Wendell, 75, of First Ave., passed away Monday evening, February 26, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital following a long illness.

Born on May 18, 1948, in Corinth, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Elaine (Underwood) Wendell. She was a graduate of Hadley Luzerne Central School.

Liz worked as a house manager for NYS OPWDD in Lake Luzerne for many years.

She enjoyed reading, cooking, card games and taking drives around the area.

She is survived by her sisters: Linda (Lewis) Montello of Corinth, Diane Ferrante of Corinth, Rhonda (John) Barnes of Ballston Spa and Jane (Richard) Heustis of Greenfield Center; nieces and nephews: Melissa (James) Bliss, Anthony Montello, Richard (Michelle) Heustis, Jr., Keith (Emily) Mabb, and April Ferrante; several great nieces and great nephews as well as many cousins and special friends, Paula, Sally, Carol, Carla, Bonnie, Tyrone and Gwen.

Friends may call Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Brewer Funeral Home, 24 Church St., Lake Luzerne. 

Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m..

Private burial will be in Lynwood Cemetery.

Friends and family are invited to gather following the funeral service at Corinth Fire Department, 16 Saratoga Ave., Corinth.
